A health camp was organized at the Block level in each district, in association with the nearest healthcare institution. As many as thousands of people from every village benefited from the health camp. The maximum of village is located approximately 15 kilometers southwest of the city. Villages have been selected by the organization to conduct the health camp as there were no basic health facilities within the 15 km radius. The objective of conducting the health camp is to create awareness of general health among the people, provide general health care services and counseling them on basic healthcare and hygiene. The main objective is to make people aware of the health issues through health camp so that everyone could easily understand the concept. People are diagnosed with various common but seriously neglected problems such as diarrhea, cholera, acute flu and cataract in the eyes. There are also a few cases, where problems related to urethral discharge, the kidneys and cancer detected; these cases are further referred to the referral hospital, where they will be properly taken care of. The health camp is a huge success with overwhelming response from the local people.
